Red pharma Laboratories Polska S. A., which is the manufacturer of the non-steroidal preparation Calmapherol SC ointment, in 2020 in cooperation with prof. dr. hab. n. med. Rafał Pawliczak from the Department of Immunopathology, Chair of Allergology, Immunology and Dermatology of the University of Lodz, conducted a clinical study evaluating the efficacy of the usage of Calmapherol SC ointment in the treatment of patients with atopic dermatitis. This is another clinical study of a product from the Calmapherol SC series containing the innovative ingredient glycerophosphoinositol salt of choline. The study involved 300 patients with atopic dermatitis, and the results provided evidence of greater efficacy of Calmapherol SC non-steroidal ointment in improving skin condition and quality of sleep in patients with AD, compared to emollients.
